Today’s Chic Vintage Bride was a style icon of the 1960s, a star of the big screen and a bond girl! Britt Ekland’s fame however was found almost over night when she married English comedian Peter Sellers in 1964…..
A candlelit wedding at Guildford Surrey, registry office is hardly typical Hollywood style, but then when British actor Peter Sellers married Swedish actress Britt Ekland the couple had only known each other a month.
The bride wore a very cute, knee length gown, with a boat neckline, chic three quarter sleeves and an adorned hem by Norman Hartnell, which she paired with a glamorous fur coat and set off with a bouquet of pink roses and sweet lily of the valley. Rather than a traditional veil she wore a stylish small pillbox hat covered in white flowers. Whilst the groom wore a dark blue suit and his legendary hornrimmed glasses.
So chic… I can almost forgive her fag in hand pose!

I am going to a 60s themed fancy dress party with my boyfriend as Britt Ekland and Peter Sellers on their wedding day.
I think this wedding is so 60s… extremely stylish in a wonderfully laid back way.
Oh do you have the little pillbox hat too? You and your man are going to look so fabulous! I agree, as hollywood weddings go this was definitely laid back
but equally stylish!
