Glamorous Bridal Shoes from Rachel Simpson

Shoes are like the cherry on the wedding dress pie! They’re not your first thought when you get engaged (well not for most brides anyway – I am sure there are a few exceptions 
) but they complete your look. And I for one really struggled to find something I felt represented a modern twist on a glamorous vintage shoe….. well not without them costing me almost as much as my dress! I also wanted shoes that I could wear again. If only I had known about Rachel Simpson! The moment I laid eyes on her fabulous new collection, I knew she would have had the shoes for me….
After being given the choice at Uni of either footwear design or mechanical engineering (yep, really), with shoes understandably winning hands downs, Rachel Simpson started making hand made shoes in a shed at the bottom of her garden. The business has come a long way since then but continues to maintain all the original ideas. Stylish design, originating in elegant vintage ideas; beautifully made shoes from factories small enough to be as close as to handmade as possible; and at prices which offer real value for money.
I love that Rachel has been so considerate with each style featuring a mid or low heel, creating beautiful, fashionable and elegant shoes that can actually be worn all day!

Including my personal favourite…… I love a pop of colour under a bridal gown and there’s always something a little naughty about red shoes 
How cute is the heart broguing detail?! The on-trend shoe boot Olivia is made from buttery soft ivory leather, they look so comfortable!
