Grace and Glamour from Jenny Packham’s Fall 2013 Bridal Collection
Following last week’s posts from the catwalks of New York’s Fall 2013 Bridal Fashion Week (Vera Wang’s classic collection, Claire Pettibone’s romantic collection and Monique Lhuillier’s alluringly dreamy collection), I am taking you back to NYC for one of my favourite bridal designers. I have said it before (and I have no doubt I will say it again, but) no designer creates outfits for the modern-day goddess quite like Jenny Packham…..
(you can glimpse the seductive back of Cyclamen in the image above…. just the right side of daring!)
For Fall 2013, whilst other designers featured voluminous gowns of lace and tulle, Jenny Packham stayed true to her signature aesthetic, of vintage-inspired designs that simply ooze glamour and luxury. Sleek sheaths and stunning gowns with plunging necklines shimmered down the catwalk with their inimitably Packham embroidery and embellishments….
Channelling the glamour of Art Deco era and the golden age of Hollywood with halter necks, adorned shoulders and sleeves of every length (a continuing trend for Fall 2013), whether you’re planning an extravagantly chic celebration or a boho beach fete, there is a Jenny Packham gown guaranteed to make you swoon.
It is little wonder the designer has already become a favourite amongst celebrities (like Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet) and royalty alike, who could forget that teal delight worn by the Duchess of Cambridgeshire? – designs fit for a princess!….

I love Dentelle, but it will always be Kate Middleton’s dress for me, so I would have to go all Joan Crawford in Mildred Pierce and choose Tease from Jenny Packham‘s latest collection. How about you? Which JP would you choose?
