Harvest Wedding Inspiration with Pops of Fuchsia

Maura Jane Photography

Loving this time of year and unusual color palettes as I do, you can imagine my excitement when I received this beautiful editorial through Matchology. The palette includes an unexpected pop of fuchsia, alongside navy, deep purples and the more traditional red; and the details are vintage inspired, but at the same time timelessly romantic. I especially love the use of bold proteas in the florals, the alternative to the traditional wedding cake and the sweetheart table decor. With so much to inspire be sure to have your pinning finger ready before scrolling any further!

Harvest Wedding Inspiration in Fuchsia Pink

Here are a few words from photographer Maura about the shoot…. “Amanda and James have always loved Thanksgiving. The colors, the friends, the family, and of course the food. So while creating a styled shoot for this deserving military couple, we kept their favorite holiday in mind. We chose to keep the fall harvest colors focused around purples, the couples favorite colors.

We gathered vendors from around the city to pair all the couples favorite things. Just Lovely Weddings created a beautiful fall tablescape with fruits and candles and florals and the couples favorite quote on craft paper.

In lieu of a wedding cake, following the thanksgiving theme, Emerald Pie Bar created an intricate black berry peach pie decorated with chocolate lace flowers and lemon tarts decorated with greenery and fresh fruits, along with bright fall colored macaroons with gold leafing.

The Flower Company designed a beautiful overflowing organic bouquet with eucalyptus, protea, burgundy cremons, purple scoop scabiosa, feathered acacia, gunni greens, chocolate lace, white hypericum berries, crocosmia and white genestra that doubled as a centerpiece.

We then took the couple out to the woods along the river for the fall colored leaves.”
