Flawless Vintage Chic
It’s typical that whilst planning my wedding blog and getting it up and running there have been no end of gorgeous celebrity (and royal!) weddings. The most recent and, in my opinion most vintage wow, was Kate Moss’s beautiful bohemian wedding to Jamie Hince, in a quiet village in the English Cotswalds.
Whilst I have not always been the biggest fan of Kate Moss’s style, on her wedding day I can do nothing but admit that her style was flawless vintage chic and I absolutely adored it
To the exquisite matching Juliet cap veil…..
She epitomised Vintage Chic and looked every inch the blushing bride – beautiful, relaxed and happy.
Inspired, it transpires, by socialite, art deco icon and wife of F Scott Fitzgerald, Zelda Fitzgerald – the lady who spawned the term Flapper no less!
Iconic Photographer and friend of Kate’s, Mario Testino, captured the essence of the day…..
Vogue fashion features director, Harriet Quick described the bride perfectly “She was that ethereal waif; delicate and mischievous, on a perfect midsummer eve…”
Her stylish hubby Jamie Hince wore a skinny, double-breasted peak lapel jacket and skinny trousers in grey wool, striped cotton shirt, printed grey wool tie and pair of leather boots, all Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati.

What a stunning couple on what looks like a perfect day – I wish them both a long and happy marriage!
……I just can’t get enough of that veil!
I just love, love, love it………. It makes me wish I had worn a veil!
