The Regal and Impossibly Romantic 2015 Bridal Collection from Inbal Dror

I don’t know about you, but I simply can not get enough of the beautiful bridal collections for 2015 unveiled earlier this month at NYBFW! Whilst it has been tempting to fill these pages with collection after collection, I have resisted and have instead been focusing on only the very best, most exquisite and perfectly vintage collections designers had to offer. So far I have shared with you Claire Pettibone‘s incredible “Gothic Angel” and “The Starlet” from Johanna Johnson – with dresses fit for a siren of the silver screen, plus 5 of my favourite dresses! Which means, you know a collection must be breathtaking to make it onto the pages of Chic Vintage Brides. Well, the 2015 collection from Inbal Dror is just that….and more, so much more!

Inbal Dror's 2015 Bridal Collection

For the last couple of years Israeli designer, Inbal Dror, has taken the wedding world (and Pinterest) by storm with her beautiful, seductive and incredibly sexy wedding dresses. With their elaborate embellishments, plunging necklines & backs, elegant long trains and form-fitting silhouettes, her truly one-of-a-kind designs are instantly recognisable and have become a firm favourite of the bold and glamorous modern bride. Although undoubtedly infused with old world elegance, I have personally always felt past collections (however incredible) too modern for CVB. But the refined elegance of her 2015 designs, plus her choice of bridal accessory (oh yes, it seems that 2015 may be the year for that crown revival I have yearned so long for), had me swooning and I could resist no longer!

Whilst Inbal Dror‘s latest collection includes many of the design features so adored by her brides and fans around the world, including long sleeves, sultry fishtails and delicate lace; it is also infused with gorgeous new silhouettes that are a little more sumptuous and a little less seductive; chic cover ups that create a more demure look for the ceremony before unveiling a suitably dazzling dress for the celebrations; and regal looking high necklines. Quite simply these dresses are perfect for the bride who wants to feel like a modern-day princess!

I love the selection of dresses in the collection that enable you to create two distinct looks for your day, thanks to an equally luscious coat, cloak or coverup – they’re perfect for a church wedding or winter celebration where you might appreciate an extra layer…..

It was the addition of more traditionally vintage silhouettes and designs (as well as her use of crowns) that really grabbed my attention this year! I especially adore this tea length wedding dress with its beautiful bodice, which comes with a tulle overskirt for those who want something full length for the ceremony…..

There is however no doubting that this is a modern collection, for the modern day bride, with the inclusion of key trends such as separates, billowing boho sleeves, off the shoulder necklines and some thigh high splits…..

Oh and I will be sharing more of the key bridal looks and trends for 2015 over the next couple of weeks!

So, what do you think? Swoonworthy – or still too sexy?
